Where Should I Have my Maternity Session?

As long as the weather is nice, I love photographing maternity sessions outside! I have a few locations that are personal favorites, but if there is a place that is sentimental to your family, we should do photos there!

In-home maternity sessions are an option too, and so much fun! Plus, you don’t have to go anywhere or put shoes on – can all the expecting mamas say hallelujah?!

Who Should Come to a Maternity Session?

Some expecting mamas ask if it is okay for their family to join the maternity session. My answer is, ABSOLUTELY! All immediate family members are welcome to attend and join in on your maternity session. The arrival of your little one is an exciting and special experience for your entire family, so I would love for everyone to get involved. It is such a treasure to be able to savor the last few months of pregnancy, and have beautiful documentation of the joy you’re feeling ahead of your little one’s arrival.

Should I Have Maternity Photos Done?

Are you nearing your due date and trying to decide if you should have maternity photos done?

I didn’t have professional photos taken during either of my pregnancies. I can tell you it is something I really regret not investing in. There is something so magical about pregnancy, and it is totally worth documenting. The ideal time for your maternity session is between 28 and 32 weeks. Reach out early to make sure you get on my calendar. I promise you will not regret it!
