First Time Parents

I met with Morgan and Ben to do their maternity session in Alexander City. You may remember this couple from their pregnancy announcement session in January. I have absolutely adored working with them as their love for each other and excitement in this season is so evident in their galleries.

Working with first-time parents is always so fun for me. I love watching them get excited about this new season they are about to embark on. It is also a sweet opportunity to celebrate them and their relationship which you don’t always get when there are little excited siblings running around. Morgan and Ben are the sweetest and it is always precious time with them behind the camera.

For this session, we met at Springhouse on Russell Lands, a short drive from Auburn, Alabama. This location is really special to Morgan and Ben as they had some of their wedding festivities here. For all my sessions I am willing to travel within 100 miles of Auburn at no additional cost. I do this because I want to be able to photograph you at places that are special to you and not just on a list of pretty places for photos. I am positive that your photos will be 100% more meaningful if they are taken at a place that is meaningful to you.

Client Closet and Membership Collective

Morgan ended up borrowing a dress from my client closet, and it looked absolutely perfect on her. I have streamlined the offerings in my client closet recently, however, I truly like having this option for my maternity and post-partum clients. It is always helpful to know that I have flexible options just in case whatever you’ve ordered doesn’t fit your final vision.

I offer maternity sessions as a stand-alone session option, but you can also become a part of my session collective, where I offer multiple sessions over an 18-month period. The Session Collective is most often reserved by my families wanting to document their baby’s first year of life, however, it is open to any family at any life stage.
