As Mother’s Day approaches I wanted to take a minute to soak in all the amazing things about motherhood. Motherhood is something special. As a motherhood and family photographer, it has been one of my greatest joys to get to capture those heart-melting moments between a mom and her kids.

One of my favorite ways to celebrate motherhood is with my motherhood event that I’ve done the past two springs. I partnered again with Sara from Unorthodox Floral and Film, to create the arrangement of my dreams. We did a dreamy meadow-inspired floral setup that was truly breathtaking, Sara kills it every time. Each of the families were so precious and it was so much fun to spend the day with them. We even did a pet portrait session with a sweet dog mama! Photographing moms with their babies will always be my favorite and I’m still beaming thinking about this event. 

Motherhood is a whirlwind adventure filled with laughter, tears, and more love than you ever thought possible. From those first precious cuddles in the hospital to the chaotic but oh-so-memorable family moments, every minute is a treasure.

To all the moms out there, you are absolute superheroes. You juggle a million things at once and somehow manage to do it all with incredible grace and patience. Your love knows no bounds, and your strength is truly awe-inspiring.

So here’s to you, the rockstars of motherhood. I hope that this Mother’s Day you feel loved, appreciated, and deeply cared for. Thank you for all that you do, today and every day.
