Joyful Family Announcement Session

When Brittnee reached out on Instagram with a last-minute idea to do an announcement session, I jumped at the chance. She and her husband Levi had exciting news to share and wanted to celebrate with photos. Within a week, we met at the arboretum for a joyful family announcement session that felt easy, meaningful, and full of real emotion. These moments don’t have to be overly planned—some of the best sessions come together quickly and beautifully.

Why Last-Minute Sessions Can Still Be Meaningful

You don’t have to plan everything weeks in advance—if you’re feeling excited and want to celebrate a new chapter, I’m always up for a last-minute session. These are the kinds of memories worth capturing while the joy is fresh. Brittnee and Levi’s session is proof that a little spontaneity can go a long way.

The Sweetest Celebration: It’s a Girl!

Their daughter, Mac, joined in on the fun as they celebrated the news that they’re adding another girl to their family. Brittnee wore the perfect pink dress, and their excitement brought so much warmth and energy to the session. It was simple, sweet, and so full of joy.

We kept things easy by meeting at the arboretum—one of my favorite spots for families. The light was soft and glowing, and the natural backdrop added to the authentic feel of the moment. No props needed, just a happy family and a big announcement.

Quick Turnaround for Big Moments

When you’re announcing something this exciting, you don’t want to wait days to share it. That’s why I offer a 48-hour turnaround on all announcement sessions—so you can post, text, and celebrate with your people right away.

Whether you’ve been planning for weeks or just had the idea yesterday, I’d love to photograph your announcement. Let’s keep it simple and joyful—just like your news.
