Relaxed At-Home Auburn Family Photographer
Relaxed, easy, simple, and inviting.
These are words that I think of when I look at the Wright family’s recent session. The past year I have gotten to document the Wright family a couple of times, but I first met them at last year’s Motherhood Event. I was so excited to photograph them again. The whole session was all about capturing those little moments that make family life together so special. We focused on doing all the things they love together, and it was just the best.
We started off outside with some swinging in the front year. The kids’ laughter was contagious, and I couldn’t help but freak out the entire time. After our super fun outside time we headed inside to play in the front room. This room was a dream. It was filled with so much love and amazing light that made for the perfect backdrop to this family session.
At one point we even took a break to go get some ritz crackers, and y’all know I love a snack moment. There’s something so special about being in a family’s home, where everyone feels comfortable and free to be themselves. It makes the photo sessions so much more enjoyable, which shows in the photos, making them memories the family will treasure for many years.
Capturing the genuine, everyday moments of family life is what it’s all about for me. These are the little pieces of life that often go unnoticed but mean so much. I love at-home sessions like this because I feel like they capture not only what it looks like to be a part of your family, but more importantly what it feels like.
