Auburn Lifestyle Family Photography

There’s something so special about Auburn Lifestyle Family Photography, especially when it takes place right at home where real life happens. I’ve had the joy of photographing the Baker family for several years now. I’ve done mini sessions for them and a commercial project with Maison Baker. Being invited back into their home to celebrate Nana’s birthday made this session extra meaningful.

We spent the afternoon doing all the things they love most: playing cards around the table, Waverly working on art, Graham playing piano (while a massive dinosaur roared its way through the kitchen), and rolling around in the grass outside. These moments and photos might be some of my favorites ever. The joy and silliness were unmatched.

One of my favorite parts of the entire day was capturing the multi-generation family photos and honoring the sweet relationships between them. I loved the connection between her mom and the grandkids, and the quiet, tender moments between siblings. It was everything family photography should be: relaxed, personal, and full of real life.

I’m always reminded that the ordinary moments we overlook now are the ones we’ll want to hold onto the most later. Getting to simply vibe in their home and freeze time for them just as they are in this season was truly such a gift.
So grateful for families like the Bakers who invite me into their story, you’re next! Let’s chat about it.
